MENTAL HEALTH

 Mental health encompasses emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It influences our cognition, perception, and behavior in our everyday life. According to the World Health Organization, Mental health contributes a lot to how we cope with things like the stresses of life, realize our abilities learn well work well, and contribute to our community. When one is failing to manage their moods, thinking behavior, inability to concentrate, feeling confused, extreme and persistent fear or worry, we say that the person is mentally ill. Mentally ill persons usually withdraw from others and are unable to cope with everyday problems. It is unrealistic to think that life is always smooth and has no challenges, but different people deal with these challenges differently. A mentally ill person cannot usually handle the challenges of life. There is a need to keep our mental health intact to avoid the dangers of being mentally unhealthy. The following are the ways mental health can be improved;

Make a social connection. According to Greater Good magazine, social connection refers to the feeling that you belong to a group of people or are close to certain people. Social connection brings a sense of belonging to the person. Imagine being with people who can understand you without judging you or can crack jokes and you laugh without feeling judged; that is what social connection will bring you. You can try volunteering in a field of your specialty, seek out public places like sports centers, strengthen existing friendships by spending more time with them, give yourself a good image (nourish yourself), and try online therapy (https://www.fiverr.com/pe/pdpQ22R )

Stay active. This refers to the doing of any activity that keeps your body in motion. This will strengthen your heart, improve blood circulation, make your muscles flexible, and tone your muscles. This will help your body release the stress that is in the body. For further online help on how to do Trauma Release Exercises contact me via https://www.fiverr.com/pe/pdpQ22R.

Talk to someone. When stressed, we often feel like we are in the world alone and no one can be there for us. It is like being in a deep pit without any hope of getting out. But, when someone eventually shows up at the top of the pit, we feel relieved because we are now aware that there is hope of getting out. Boost your confidence. This refers to something that makes you feel happy, fulfilled, and approved. Your boosted confidence will help you believe in yourself and so socialize with others more. Do you want to know how to boost your confidence? Contact me at https://www.fiverr.com/pe/pdpQ22R.

BE CAREFUL WITH HELPING PEOPLE

You are destroying yourself and you call it love. You call it loyalty or being a good person but in the cold light of reality it is none of those things. It is self-sabotage wrapped in a moral blanket. There is a terrifying truth about human nature that most people are too afraid to admit. It is a lesson that civilized society tries to bury. The lesson is; not everyone can be saved and more importantly, not everyone wants to be saved. There are people in this world who are not looking for a hand up but rather an anchor and if you offer them your hand, they will not climb out of the water. They will pull and use your body as a raft to keep themselves afloat while you slowly drown in the depth of their chaos. I am sure you know who I am talking about. Perhaps you have met them, you are bleeding because of one right now, the friend who is always in a crisis, the partner who drains your soul but demands your patience, the family member who takes your money, your energy and your peace ...

THE INTELLIGENT

  “The one who knows and knows that they know is a teacher, you must listen to them. The one who knows and does not know that they know is asleep, please wake them up. The one who does not know and they know that they don't know is a student and must be taught. The one who does not know and does not know that they don’t know is an idiot and must be treated like so, especially when they have a loud mouth.” Bobi Wine in his song Katala Knowledge is facts about a particular subject while wisdom is the ability to use those facts and apply them in everyday life to yield positive results. Being wise incorporates being intelligent but takes a further step from the two. Having information and knowing how to apply it are two different things but work hand in hand. Intelligence is the capacity to learn, understand, analyze information and solve problems. Cognitive science and psychology will give more elaborate explanation of it. A highly intelligent person can process information quickl...

PHILOSOPHIES OF EDUCATION 3

  Existentialism This kind of philosophy was developed in the 20 th century. It adherently emphasizes individual existence, which is why it is referred to as existentialism. Existentialists believe there is no grand design by God or nature that human beings should fit. Instead, individuals are born into an indifferent, alien, and purposeless world. Because of this reality, life is fundamentally absurd. Each person has a task and ability to construct his own meaning in individual development. Jean-Paul Sartre one of the outspoken existentialist philosophers argued that ‘existence precedes essence’ which has become a catchphrase for existentialism. In individual development, a human being exits and then becomes. Each person should have the ability and choice to decide their essence. Truth is only relative to an individual’s judgment. There is no absolute truth. Objective universal and certain knowledge is unattainable. Each person must decide what is true and what is significant...
