TRAUMA RELEASE EXERCISES

Trauma release exercise is a creation of a series of physical exercises that are aimed at assisting the body to release deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma.  These exercises safely activate a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance.

Our learners go through a lot of traumas that originate from any environment they come from. In many schools Trauma release exercises may not be termed as so but instead commonly known as Physical Exercises. These exercises benefit the learners as follows;

Trauma release exercises help in reducing physical pains in students. I have observed that nine out of the ten learners I ask after trauma release exercises professing to have had reduced pains. When the pains is reduced it creates an avenue for discharging physiological and psychological associations of trauma.

Stress is known to cause autoimmune conditions that may affect a learner's health. Trauma release exercises will help in combating the causes of the condition by engaging the body in its activities. These exercises will improve the condition for a better one.

TRE will help build a great resilience to a learners effort to learn. The reducing of the stress and setting of the standard to achieve by a learner, helps modify the child's mindset in resilience. It conditions them to focus on the objective to achieve.

TRE's improve on the use of the body fats and engage other body parts into activities. This helps in improving sleep of the learner. A good sleep of the learner contributes so much in overcoming traumatic events. A well rested learner produces a less traumatized learner and hence an attentive learner.

The exercises help in improving the learners relationship with the trainer.

TRE's provide a feeling safer in a learner's body and life.

Having trauma release exercises for learners is an effective action. It improves the mental health of learners in the school. It makes the learners learners' learning ability effective. This encourages the production of a well formed citizen.

BE CAREFUL WITH HELPING PEOPLE

You are destroying yourself and you call it love. You call it loyalty or being a good person but in the cold light of reality it is none of those things. It is self-sabotage wrapped in a moral blanket. There is a terrifying truth about human nature that most people are too afraid to admit. It is a lesson that civilized society tries to bury. The lesson is; not everyone can be saved and more importantly, not everyone wants to be saved. There are people in this world who are not looking for a hand up but rather an anchor and if you offer them your hand, they will not climb out of the water. They will pull and use your body as a raft to keep themselves afloat while you slowly drown in the depth of their chaos. I am sure you know who I am talking about. Perhaps you have met them, you are bleeding because of one right now, the friend who is always in a crisis, the partner who drains your soul but demands your patience, the family member who takes your money, your energy and your peace ...

THE INTELLIGENT

  “The one who knows and knows that they know is a teacher, you must listen to them. The one who knows and does not know that they know is asleep, please wake them up. The one who does not know and they know that they don't know is a student and must be taught. The one who does not know and does not know that they don’t know is an idiot and must be treated like so, especially when they have a loud mouth.” Bobi Wine in his song Katala Knowledge is facts about a particular subject while wisdom is the ability to use those facts and apply them in everyday life to yield positive results. Being wise incorporates being intelligent but takes a further step from the two. Having information and knowing how to apply it are two different things but work hand in hand. Intelligence is the capacity to learn, understand, analyze information and solve problems. Cognitive science and psychology will give more elaborate explanation of it. A highly intelligent person can process information quickl...

PHILOSOPHIES OF EDUCATION 3

  Existentialism This kind of philosophy was developed in the 20 th century. It adherently emphasizes individual existence, which is why it is referred to as existentialism. Existentialists believe there is no grand design by God or nature that human beings should fit. Instead, individuals are born into an indifferent, alien, and purposeless world. Because of this reality, life is fundamentally absurd. Each person has a task and ability to construct his own meaning in individual development. Jean-Paul Sartre one of the outspoken existentialist philosophers argued that ‘existence precedes essence’ which has become a catchphrase for existentialism. In individual development, a human being exits and then becomes. Each person should have the ability and choice to decide their essence. Truth is only relative to an individual’s judgment. There is no absolute truth. Objective universal and certain knowledge is unattainable. Each person must decide what is true and what is significant...
