  I am excruciating because of the state of our country Uganda. One man said that when an eagle wants to eat its eaglets, it blames them for looking and smelling like chicks. These are leaders labeling some of us; agents of the conceptual west, the people we believe are bigger contributors to our misfortunes. They want us to blame ourselves for working with the enemy against our thieves. No, we hate both the imperialists and the thieves. What if we lived without politicians, since they have failed to be Ugandans but rather demi gods that think know everything yet their freedom of knowledge and wisdom is manifested in their word? I wish our African leaders would listen to us and come to terms with the African reality. They are supposed to serve us, but instead, they treat us as a European colony. Philosophers agree that the modes of philosophy contribute a lot to its health Philosophy is said to be a discipline of problems because it keeps asking the question of ‘why’. One sets out to find out the reasonability of any activity or any perceived reality. Philosophy asks questions that ought to be reflected on and if possible be answered and the answers will also be questioned. The great Rene Descartes introduced the narrative ‘ cogito ergo sum’ (I think therefore I am) while he was searching for the indubitable truth. He doubted everything and thought about each of them and came out with what he called the indubitable truth. Philosophy can also be referred to as the mother of all subjects because it provides an opportunity to ask ‘why’ on anything in any subject.                                             With philosophy everything is possible. We have heard the word philosophy on so many occasions. Many people associate it with reasoning while others with a way of life. Some define it as rationality and actually synonymize it; that is, when one wants to refer to thinking, they say philosophizing or refer to philosophy as thinking. But, philosophy actually involves much more than thinking. It is love ‘Philo’ it is wisdom ‘Sophia’ as one would etymologically define it. It is the love of wisdom and so encompasses what love does and what wisdom is composed of. Wisdom is not something passive that a person simply possesses.
